a quick analysis of my diet leads me to believe that i’m approximately 75% vegetarian. i don’t mean to be three-quarters of one, or ANY part of one really, that’s just how it works out. it’s certainly not a moral thing, because i’d eat veal stuffed with foie gras if given the opportunity, i LIKE steak tartare, and bacon is one of my all-time favourite foods. i don’t eat lamb, but that’s just because i think it smells like burning hair when it’s cooking.
tonight was another unintentional vegetarian night. i had a broiled portabello mushroom – stuffed with butternut squash & cream cheese puree, and topped with parmesan & toasted panko – and mashed potatoes with garlic mushrooms.
it was yummy.
good food makes me happy π
